The Warrior Beat

Welcome to The Warrior Beat page, which is dedicated to all things Stephen Tsai and The Warrior Beat. No, this is not a shrine to Stephen (I keep that in my closet), but it is a Web page where you can find all the work that I have done in service to our blog community. (Sorry, I would include links to the sites of fellow Tsaikos, but I wouldn’t want to leave anyone out.)

The Warrior Beat Form – A record of information made public by blog readers. See where your fellow Tsaikos live, as well as where and when they graduated from high school. Maybe you will find a former classmate, or start a recurring Tsaiko blog bash in your neighborhood.

The Warrior Beat Images – See various images and graphics that pertain to Hawai‘i football.

Transcribed Interviews – Every so often, I get to transcribe an interview heard on television or radio. Transcribing take a lot of work, so this task is not taken on often!

Miscellaneous Stuff – If it does not fit in any other category, then you will find it here. The XHTML Tutorial is a must-read!

Revised BCS Rankings – Here you will find my system of revised Bowl Championship Series rankings. The system needs tweaking — and here are my simple adjustments.

College Football Rules – Every year, the rules of college football change; you will find necessary information here.

College Football Statistics – Nothing but statistics and rankings here, dating back to the 2000 season.

The work and research I do for the blog community, I do not do it for pay, and I do not do it expecting to get paid; I do it for public service or because the topic intrigues me, and because I have been blessed by the Lord with the opportunity and burden to help others. Occassionally, someone will treat me to a meal or something along those lines, but that is much more than I expect of anybody. Sometimes I am given things like shirts or other gifts in person; I am much more reluctant to accept something when given to me directly, since I do not feel like I should be taking anything. But then again, I do know that some of this work takes a lot of time and effort, and it would be idiotic for me not to accept gifts when they are offered. So I have decided to announce that I am accepting donations via PayPal to jnagaoka@hawaii.rr.com. These gifts will be used to help with school-related costs (legitimate costs, not things like video games and food).

More than anything, however, I would appreciate your prayers. Thank you for taking the time to visit my site; may God bless you all, and may God bless America.
